Royal Ball: A Daddy/Daughter Special Event

Enjoy a beautiful afternoon with your lovely princess. Wear your finest attire and be ready for an afternoon of magical adventures. Suits and dresses are suggested. Young princesses, with their special date, will step out in style for a very special afternoon they will never forget. Our royal couples will enjoy dessert, snacks, games, dancing, and memories that will last a lifetime. A professional photographer will be available and will offer picture packages for an additional cost. All participants must pre-register. Fee is per couple. Additional child $20 each. There will be a special visit from Cinderella and Rapunzel from Fairytale Entertainment to round out this very special afternoon.

Saturday, December 9 at the Kathy Green Multi-Purpose Center from 1-3pm. Residents $35 per couple, Non-Residents, $45 per couple; $20 per additional child.


star wars family event

Enjoy an adventurous special evening with your family in the Multi-Purpose Galaxy (Gym). Dress as your favorite Star Wars character, grab your saber and jump into your spaceship. Snacks will be served. We will play super-galactic games and create a special memory mat. There will be a special visit from Darth Villain and the Jedi Master from Fairytale Entertainment. A professional photographer will be available for an additional fee. All participants must pre-register. This event takes place in the Multi-Purpose Center Gym.

flashlight tot easter egg hunt

Grab your Easter Basket and flashlight as we search for eggs in the dark. Hunt will take place rain or shine. Dress appropriately for the weather. Pre-registration is necessary and parent may accompany child but may not pick up the eggs. This program takes place at the Inwood Sports Complex in the Softball Fields.

flashlight easter egg hunt

Think you're too old and too cool for the typical egg hunt? Here is a hunt just for you! Bring your flashlight and basket as you search for eggs in the dark only using your flashlight. Hunt will take place rain or shine. Dress appropriately for the weather. Pre registration is necessary!

wiffle ball mania

Come out to Nowell Park to re-live your youth days in this co-ed Wiffle ball\ tournament! This will be a double elimination style tournament with a roster max set at 8 players. Teams will play with 6 players on the field at a time. All players must be 16 and over. The first place team will receive trophies and each player will receive a t-shirt.

adult kickball tournament

Create a team to play in the Nowell Park Kickball tournament! Up to 12 players are allowed on the roster with 10 participating at a time. Teams may be co-ed. This will be a fun double-elimination tournament! Prizes will be awarded to the first place team. Concessions will be sold at the pavilion.

pregnant? how to make yours a joyful journey

Congratulations, you're having a baby! Now what? The doulas of A Joyful Journey Birth Services will discuss the many options, classes, and support services available to mothers and their birth partners during pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period. This workshop will be full of information, demonstrations, and Q & A. Topics will include childbirth education classes, alternative birthing locations, options within a hospital setting, doula services, placenta encapsulation, and breastfeeding support. the bradley method® of natural childbirth

Mothers and their partners will learn how to achieve a safe, healthy, and low-risk pregnancy, labor, and birth with this 12 week comprehensive childbirth class series. This class is beneficial for couples who are birthing within a hospital, birth center, or at home, using either a doctor or a midwife. Partners will be informed and involved in the entire process and will be trained to coach the mother throughout her labor and birth using many techniques, comfort measures, and relaxation. Topics will also include nutrition and exercise during pregnancy, the stages of labor, variations of normal in labor, creating your birth preferences, obtaining informed consent, the use of medications and interventions, cesarean sections, breastfeeding, postpartum and newborn care, and more. Friday Night Zoo Lights

Enjoy a night out of the house visiting the Lincoln Park Zoo lights. This exciting trip will feature crafts, music and snacks while you enjoy the holiday spirit! Please pack a lunch.
