Pilcher Park Nature Center is pleased to announce that we are offering several nature-themed Girl and Boy Scout badge programs for local troops and dens. These programs are designed to accomplish the majority of the listed badge requirements, if not all. Specific badge requirements for Boy Scouts are listed under each badge program that we offer. We will not be providing badges to each participant upon completion of requirements.

If there is a theme or topic that your troop or den is interested in, but you do not see it listed below, please contact us to see if we can accommodate. We are flexible and willing to provide different variations of the badges or of the field trips we typically offer for schools and other groups. Please click here to see our field trip guide.

Payment and Siblings

All badges that we offer require a minimum of 6 participants. Most badge programs have a cost of $6 per participant. Siblings are allowed to join for a fee as long as their age is similar to the age of the members from the troop or den. Please talk to us at the time of registration about the addition of siblings to the badge program.

A deposit of 20% of the total is due at the time of initial registration. The balance is due on the day of the program.

The Day of Your Program

Please arrive on time. If you arrive late, the program will still end at the time scheduled according to your reservation. This may affect the naturalist's ability to complete all requirements in the remaining time.

Dress appropriately for the weather. We will go outside unless it is inclement weather.
