Jumping Spiders of Illinois

Enter a world of webbing, fearless jumps, and striking colors. This workshop is an introduction to one of the world's mightiest predators - the jumping spider! Together we will learn about jumping spider behavior, how to identify them, and where to find them. We will play interactive games to simulate moving and seeing like a jumping spider and make a spider craft. You will even get to observe and examine live jumping spiders. Please dress for the weather because we may play our games outside weather permitting.
