Did you know the Joliet Park District offers both Recreational and Competitive Dance programs. Introducing Synergy Park District Dance Crew. This program competes from January to April in the Illinois Park District Drill Team Division, as well as performing in parades and area festivals. Open to children ages 4-14. In addition to competitive dance, a multitude of different programs are offered including Pre-Dance, which is specifically designed for 3 & 4 year olds, Hip-Hop/Jazz, Ballet/Tumbling, and Ballet/Tap. What is Synergy?
Synergy Competitive Dance, Pom and Cheer competes in the Illinois Park District Drill Conference Team Division. This is a great opportunity for your child to become a part of a team that will build his/her self-esteem and encourage him/her to be confident and outgoing. This is a 5-month commitment.
The Competitive Team provides members with a unique opportunity to study, explore, and perform dance, pom, and cheer at a higher level of expectation. This gives the more discipline performer a way to study at studio-quality level of instruction.
Synergy Team 2024 season runs from January 2024 through May 2024. Members are required to be enrolled for the entire season. Payments are made in monthly EFT installment payments. First payment is due upon enrolling. First EFT payment begins in February 5, 2024 and ends April 5, 2024.
Synergy Park District Team competes from January to April in the Illinois Park District Drill Conference
Competition Teams participate in all recitals and IPDDC Competitions. All competition fees and costume fees are included in $100.00 registration fee and $100 monthly EFT installment payments. (If a dancer decides to compete a solo, duet, or trio extra fees will be charge to the specific dancer)
Synergy Competitive Dance, Pom, and Cheer Team Information
Cheer Team practices will be twice a week at Joliet Park District Kathy Green Multi-Purpose Center on Mondays & Thursdays. Dance Team Practices will be on Mondays. Pom Team practices on Saturdays. All competitions are on Saturdays or Sundays. Competition schedules are listed below
