Since 2006, Inwood Athletic Club has been the fitness home for the Joliet community.

Membership to our fitness center includes:

  • 10,000 square feet of strength and cardio equipment
  • 1/10 mile indoor track
  • Functional training area
  • Group exercise classes (40+/week) 
  • 25 yard, 8 lane indoor pool
  • Steam room and whirlpool

Group Exercise

Group exercise classes are included with membership and range from strength to spinning to yoga to Zumba and everything in between. Classes are offered Sunday-Saturday, starting as early as 5:15am.

Nutrition is 80% of the equation for a healthy lifestyle. What is best for YOU to meet YOUR health and fitness goals? With individualize nutrition counseling from our staff nutrition coach, we can get you on the right path! Gloria Dollinger, RDN, LD is a Registered Dietician, Health and Lifestyle Coach and holds a certification in Eating Psychology. With experience in the health and wellness field totaling over 30 years, Gloria can help you to sift through the mainstream information and offer advice based on science and your individual needs.

Inbody Assessments

Free to all members, the InBody Assessment provides an analysis of body composition, including  weight, body fat percentage, skeletal muscle mass, and BMR. This non-invasive test is quick and easy and provides important insight into your overall health and wellness.

IAC Boot Camp

Accountability. Commitment. Support. SUCCESS. 

Over 15+ years and 30+ seasons, IAC Boot Camp has produced countless success stories.  Make the success story YOURS.

IAC Boot Camp is a progressive fitness program for all levels featuring exclusive equipment, multiple training facilities, and guidance from our registered dietician / nutrition coach. Our trainer-coaches are educated, highly experienced, and, most importantly, invested in your success.

IAC Boot Camp runs seasonally three times per year:

Winter: January-March

Spring: April-June

Fall: August -October

Studio 2X


If you're looking for group fitness in a dynamic, high energy environment, Studio 2X is for you.

Studio 2X is home to our advanced Studio Training classes throughout the year. Classes range from strength to high intensity training and incorporate specialty equipment such as TRX and kettlebells.

Stadium Training

Get on the "fast track" to fitness during this 4 week program held every July. Meeting at Busey Bank Field at Joliet Memorial Stadium, this cardio intensive workout utilizes stairs, bleachers, the track and field to increase cardio endurance, speed and burn calories.

Specialty Yoga

Yoga is for EVERYbody.

We are proud to offer a wide variety of yoga programming, from beginner classes to unique yoga events!

Join us for sessions of Restorative Yoga or Yoga Foundations (Chair Yoga) or pop in to one of our yoga events! Past events include DoggYoga, Mats & Mimosas, Rage Yoga and Earth Day Yoga.

Yoga in the Park

Join our instructor team for FREE Outdoor Yoga classes for the ENTIRE COMMUNITY!

Held at Briese Park (Infantry Dr. & Ingalls Ave.) on Saturday mornings during the months of June and July, Yoga in the Park is taught by Certified Yoga Instructors from Inwood Athletic Club.

Participants must bring their own mats.

In case of inclement weather or unsafe ground conditions, class will be cancelled – there are no make-up dates.
