Athletes wishing to participate in Special Olympics programs must have a current Special Olympics medical application for participation on file with SRJC. The application is valid for two years from the date of the examination.

Participants must be able to swim at least one length of the pool to be eligible for swim team. Special Olympic Illinois Swim Meets are Saturdays, February 11 and March 4 at Stagg High School in Palos Hills. Gold medal winners will advance to the Summer Games held June 9-11 in Bloomington. Unified Bocce Ball
Are you ready to try a new sport? Bocce Ball has all the excitement you could ask for! All athletes must attend the district meet to be eligible for state summer games. Trans: $46
Train for individual track events, then enter the Area 7 Spring Games on May 6. Gold medal winners will advance to the Summer Games. Registrants must attend the spring/summer games. Trans: $58
